Mason is doing great. He has caught on to the fact that the louder he cries the faster we move. Forever he would wake up and patiently chew on his hands until we fed him. Then it became that plus a little bit of whining. Now he'll be sitting there and you think he is just the happiest baby ever and then suddenly the loudest screaming you have ever heard. That is the sign that we need to get the food ....NOW. So we are trying to master being a step ahead of him...it never works.
Last Tuesday he smiled at me for the first time on purpose and has been all smiles since. We got some of his little rattle toys out and he LOVES them. He just "talks" to them and smiles. He tries hard to laugh, but not quite yet. There is a large photo of Colorado hanging above our bed and he stares at it all of the time. He just smiles at it and coos and we talk about how we are going to go there this summer. It is as if he knows what we are saying and just can't wait to go. HA!
He hasnt been weighed in 2 weeks, so who knows what he weighs now. I am sure over 7 pounds. He turned 3 months on the 25th. I can't believe it...1/4 of his first year is gone. He has been home a full month as of tomorrow. WOW!
RSV season has caused us to stay on house arrest and we will continue to do so until April. I am so ready to take him out. I am having shopping withdrawals. Sometimes when Brady gets home from work I take a random Target trip just to get my fix.
Anyway, not much else going on. I may try to go back to work some next week...pray for me! ha.
