Finally an Update

So, I haven't been great at blogging lately. Possibly because I have been BUSY!! Mason is getting to an age where he likes to be awake during the day, which means playing, talking and reading books. I LOVE it! I am also working again about 4 hours a day. Spring cleaning and office remodeling has been taking up a lot of time too. So, I will try to give an update while the little guy is sleeping...if I don't fall asleep myself!

I haven't updated on Brady and I in a while. We are doing super! We love being mommy and daddy to Mason. Recently we have started having date nights and Sam's/Target trips without Mason which is a BIG deal. After Mason finally came home from the NICU we were very hesitant to ever leave him with anyone. It is good to get out and have adult conversation...or at least talking to each other rather than through Mason...you know the "What does daddy want for dinner?" or "Where is mommy going?" Really we are talking to each other, but we tend to ask Mason like he is going to tell us. You know you do it too!

Mason is doing great...just growing like a weed. I think he weighs about 11.5 pounds now which is awesome! He is such a happy boy unless it is TIME TO EAT! The boy isn't afraid to let you know he is hungry. Sometimes he is MAAAAD and screams, but the worst is when he puckers his bottom lip and looks at me like I have just hurt his feeling SO bad by not feeding him in time. The boy already knows how to get what he wants. HA!

Easter was a good time with cousins and aunts and uncles (Mason's---it would be my nieces, nephews, brothers, and in-laws). Mason had his first big weekend of outings.

Okay...anyway, he visited both grandparents for Easter and did great. It is VERY loud at my parents house with all the kids, but he was a trooper!

he'll be 5 months old this weekend...I can't believe it! I will post some new pictures then...if I get them taken. I am crossing my fingers for a fancy-pants camera in the near future. Hopefully it will happen!
