SNOW day!

Well yesterday was rather interesting to say the least. I had an early morning... 5:00AM to be exact. I had to travel to Tyler for a District insurance meeting and needed to get there early for all the agent small-talk that I strongly dis-like. Anyway, my dad was driving and we knew we needed to be home by 4:00 to be ahead of the snow. The weathermen beat the 4:00 time into our heads the entire way to Tyler. So, after a QUICK lunch we headed back. My mom calls and says it is snowing HARD...it is 11:30A.M. What in the world!?

Well, we got into Dallas around 1:45...rain...hard rain...TRAFFIC...lots of traffic! We hit the HOV lane to avoid most of it. It was super. We were passing everyone and it was quite amusing seeing all of the frustrated drivers. Well...the HOV lane ended in Lewisville, so did the rain. SNOW!! Heavy snow...blizzard...TRAFFIC...STOPPED traffic, as in NOT MOVING. It's 2:00. This time I am the frustrated one. It was awful!! It took us 3 hours to get from Vista Ridge mall to Denton.

It was the longest day, but the snow was so beautiful when we got home! I soon forgot about how frustrated and tired I was and decided to play in the snow.
